Political Background

1994 contested from Sang - Martam Constituency as SSP candidate and won; later joined SDF. In 199 contested from the same constituency under SDF Ticket and Won, re-elected in 2004 and is inducted Minister for PWD Roads & Bridges Department, Labour Department. 

Areas of Interest

Social work ,one of the main stalwarts to support the demand for recognition of the Nepali Language through NGO's .Presently the Vice President of Labour front of Sikkim Democratic Party. Good football player, participated upto Junior National in 1975 also interested in Table tennis, Boxing and Hockey.
